Inheritance troubles with Grandma’s house

When my Grandma passed away, she left her home in Jacksonville, Florida, to me.

I was consistently the one who kept in touch with her, visited her plus helped her out. My cousins were not overly interested in my Grandma until she passed away. Suddenly, they were genuinely worried about her estate. They all wanted a piece of it. None of my cousins have a steady job or have managed to purchase a home. Most of them can’t even afford a car. They all have financial difficulties. I didn’t want to see any of my Grandma’s belongings get into their hands. The biggest fight was over the house. I knew that if I kept the house, they would never provide up on trying to get it away from me. I figured that eventually one of my cousins would talk a lawyer into taking up the challenge. Rather than list the home through conventional methods, I decided to contact a currency home buyer. I was in a hurry to transfer the apartment out of my name. Had I gone the more traditional route of selling the home through a real estate agent, it could have taken weeks or even months. I might have been required to make repairs. There is consistently the risk of the deal falling through due to financing troubles. With a currency home buyer, I acquired a satisfactory offer the same day that I inquired. There was no charge or obligation involved. Considering my available option, I felt that it was the best solution. I prefer to have the home eventually sell to a non-family member rather than allow my cousins to destroy it. The closing was handled in less than ten days.
